Anna and Amanda discuss the National Book Awards longlists.

Our book of the week is Boy Swallows Universe by Trent Dalton.  Compared to John Irving (The Australian) it's 'profound and witty' (Sydney Morning Herald), 'unputdownable' (David Wenham) and has become a word-of-mouth sensation.
