Oh, where to start on Blake Davis? I will not lie and say it wasn't a little scary to have my husband Andrew co-hosting AND Blake as a guest at the same time. I really thought I had my editing cut out for me, but don't worry, they were both on their best behavior. Blake is our Worship Pastor at our local church, he wrote the incredible music for this podcast, and he's involved in so many more areas of ministry. He meets every task with excellence, and he leads our church with such humility-- not to mention, you can't know him and not appreciate his sense of humor. This episode is full of encouragement in the hard parts of worship, clarity on what worship is, and advice on how to be obedient despite fear and trials. Plus, if you listen in, you may just hear whether it's true that Blake Davis tried out for American Idol as well as his settlement of a long-standing source of marital debate in our home.
