Closer to home, Jennifer Downs has won the Readings Prize for New Australian Fiction with Pulse Points.

Our book of the week is Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty.  The author of three New York Times No. 1 best-sellers including Big Little Lies, Moriarty has fun with this novel set at a health retreat where nine people go seeking a life change - but will they survive?  A great beach read.
