My pastor's wife, my middle school camp chaperone, my high school small group leader, and my mother-in-law Amy Dye is on the podcast today, and it is gold! Andrew co-hosted with me, and Amy had to give us all her disclaimers of how much this is outside of her comfort zone, BUT you will see what a blessing it was that she pushed past those fears to share and how many times she's done that in order to be faithful in her story. Today we talk all things growing up in the church, waking up to realizing what following Jesus means, marrying a pastor, pushing past expectations, and feeling like you don't fit "the model." We laughed and had so much fun recording, but you will hear her real concern through tough seasons and how the Lord was providing the manna needed for every single day. She is the world's best caretaker, chicken lady, sour-dough baker, and Mamie-- I can't wait for you to hear her and be encouraged today!
