Growing up in an alcoholic home, Kim found peace and safety with her horse, Country. “The barn was my one safe place,” she recalls. As an adult, she chased performance over self-destruction, only to find herself burned out and empty. Even after meeting Jesus, Kim realized she was still living for approval—transferring her father wounds onto her relationship with God.
