Tom Baldwin is the former director of communications and strategy at the Labour Party and Keir Starmer’s official biographer. As a political journalist he was political editor of The Sunday Telegraph, assistant editor of The Times and The Times’ Washington bureau chief. In 2010, he was appointed as head of communications for the Labour Party and also worked as Senior Adviser to Ed Miliband. He ended this role after Labour's defeat in the 2015 general election. He later worked as director of communications at the People's Vote campaign which called for a new referendum on Brexit. His official biography of Keir Starmer was a Sunday Times Best Seller and his latest book, England: Seven Myths That Changed a Country – and How to Set Them Straight, is available now .
