On this episode of The Life of Phys Podcast, I’m joined by J. Aggabao, the Associate Athletic Director at Santa Clara University and a talented self-described hobbyist photographer.

J’s career has spanned elite levels of athletics and performance. He most recently served as Senior Manager of Football Performance at the Mamba Sports Academy, where he oversaw all aspects of NFL Combine/Draft prep, NFL offseason training, and high-profile football programs, including Bishop Alemany Football Strength & Conditioning.

From 2017–2018, J was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, where the team captured the 2017 Grey Cup Championship. Before that, from 2013–2017, he worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams.

Beyond athletics, J has developed a passion for photography, using the camera as a creative outlet and a way to bring balance and meaning to his life.
