Anna and Amanda discuss the winners of the National Book Awards and the shortlists for the Costa Book Awards.

Our book of the week is The Last Girl by Nadia Murad and Jenna Krakeski, with a foreword by Amal Clooney.  Nadia Murad is a twenty-three-year-old Yazidi Iraqi woman and Nobel Peace Prize winner for her activism against sex slavery as a weapon of war. This is her remarkable memoir.
