Mikolas is 0-4 in August and has his highest season-long ERA since joining the Cardinals. After turning 35 this week, it begs the question of how much the Cardinals should reasonably be relying upon Mikolas to be great in 2024. Should they stock a rotation that leaves Mikolas as one of the latter names in the group of five--or will he be pushed toward the front of the rotation again next season?
