Kris Marshall first came to prominence in My Family as Nick Harper the eldest son. He played DI Humphrey Goodman in Death in Paradise from 2014 to 2017 and reprised the role in Beyond Paradise in 2023. Other tv and film roles include playing Colin in the 2003 film Love Actually, Gratiano in Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Ralph Finnes film of The Merchant of Venice, Murder City (2006–2008), the films A Few Best Men and A few Less Men, Funland, Heist, My Life In Film, Sandition and Dave in the first series of Citizen Khan (2012).
