We are briefly stepping away from our normal hunting & outdoor talk, and diving into a different part of our lives.  This week we are joined by fellow Firefighter and the Co-Founder of Dead Reckoning Collective, Tyler Carroll to discuss our passion for our job in the fire service, and how it directly impacts and influences our need and desire for things such as writing, hunting, and the outdoors.  Tyler shares some of his personal background as a veteran and a first responder, along with what he and his publishing company, Dead Reckoning Collective strive to do for today's veterans.  Tyler, Nick and Sam unpack a lot in this episode, as they talk about how important it is for everyone to have coping mechanisms and mental escapes, whatever they might be, in order to remain grounded.  This is an episode centered around our veterans and first responders, in an unusual, yet fascinating collaboration.
