We stepped outside of our usual routine to go on an absolute adventure with the one and only Melissa Jean the 'Mushroom Queen' of the Ozarks to talk about how to find morel mushrooms this Spring in the Ozarks. We discuss when to look for them, where to look for them, and how to cook them if you end up finding some. When Melissa isn't hunting giant mushrooms, she also manages a few properties and is about to open up the Ridge Ranch which will allow guests to go morel hunting with her! What a great idea. Melissa Jean is witty, fun, and a true Ozarkan born and raised in McDonald County, Missouri and is known widely for finding one of the biggest morel mushrooms I've ever seen. Enjoy!
