"Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful," (Luke 6:36). And there are some very practical ways the Church asks us to show mercy: they're called the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. When's the last time you admonished a sinner, clothed the naked, or fed the hungry? Are we even aware of our duty to serve others in this way?

One particular suggestion Fr Columba has is to feed hungry children through the charity Mary's Meals. Please see the link below for more details.
