IU Artifacts is back, joining us on the latest episode of CrimsonCast to talk IU football. We discuss the lead-in to the season and some of the historical comparisons that last season has to prior seasons where the Hoosiers exceeded expectations. We also discuss some of the more granular details of IU's roster as we get closer to the start of the Penn State game, and evaluate the sorts of things that Indiana needs to do in order to ensure a second straight successful season.
We finish the conversation with an extended look at Caleb Coffman's great feature piece in the Indiana Daily Student about John Feinstein and the writing of the seminal Bob Knight (and IU basketball) book "A Season On The Brink". We discuss our reflections from having read both the book and the piece, and think about the implications of the book 35 years later on the image of Knight and the lessons that were learned.
