Warmwater flyfishing is one of the fastest-growing sectors of the sport overall. Not all of us have rivers close to home, let alone drift boats or rafts to fish them. What many people do have, however, is access to a wade-friendly smallmouth stream or river that’s just begging to be fished with flies.
