Anna and Amanda discuss the 2019 Miles Franklin award shortlist.

Our book of the week is A Place for Us by Fatima Farheen Mirza.  This was the first book chosen by Sarah Jessica Parker for her imprint SJP for Hogarth.  It was a New York Times best-seller and was named one of the best books of 2018 by the Washington Post, NPR and Buzzfeed. We loved this beautiful novel about an American-Indian Muslim family in California.  

Next week, Anna and Annie will be reading Exploded View by Carrie Tiffany.
