Our last episode of 2021 features our December Book Club selection, Radical Candor: Be a Kick-Ass Boss Without Losing Your Humanity. Scott defines the concept of Radical Candor as the intersection of Caring Personally while Challenging Directly. At its core, Radical Candor empowers us to give guidance and feedback that’s both kind and clear, specific and sincere. This book hit home for many of our team members and challenged our way of thinking and approach to the conversations we have with all audiences in our lives.

Throughout the book, Scott provides tools to utilize, a framework for giving guidance and many personal examples of when she failed at or succeeded in practicing radical candor in her own life experiences. It's a great read and we would highly encourage it to be added to your reading list!
