We’re revisiting the TOP 3 listened to episodes of 2022 and just like that Christmas carol reminds us, “Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again.” You might have used the word ‘no’ a lot over the holiday break and you’re ready for some routine. Discipline is more than just stopping kids from doing wrong; it’s also helping our kids start doing what’s right. Let’s be intentional with our discipline in 2023 by building into our kids character, respect and responsibility. We can also caution ourselves, that as moms, we can be more thoughtful with how we react and execute punishment. Each stage of raising kids prompts us to our great need for the Holy Spirit to walk us through the careful task of helping our kids flourish. Rally the troops because it’s time for a family meeting to talk about discipline!
