Host Erika Seamayer-Williamson invites her adult daughter Erika Laine as well as her daughter's former youth pastor Kevin Batista onto the show. They dish about adolescence and the importance of keeping kids connected to church during those critical formative years.

Kevin was Erika Laine's youth pastor for several years at Fellowship Church under the leadership of Ed Young, Jr. He currently serves on the pastoral staff at First Baptist Church Dallas under Robert Jeffress.

As their conversation unfolded, Kevin "hijacked" the podcast and started firing questions to both Erikas! The content was so good Erika decided to turn this recording into two episodes. Here in part 1, Kevin discloses a simple secret to ensure God's favor and blessing in life which is to "be at the right place at the right time with the right people doing the right thing."

As young woman in her early 20s, Erika Laine also offers sound wisdom on how to veer away from toxic relationships, ways to fight boredom, and reasons why keeping the Word of God in in your own face always builds your faith.
