In Feb 2015, I did a 5-day symposium consisting of 25 interviews with powerful and inspiring women sharing their stories and advice for transcending life’s struggles, fears and doing it their own way. We got so much incredible feedback on the interviews, we decided to turn it into a podcast. At times during the interviews when you hear us refer to the series or interviews that have already been done, keep in mind these interviews have been repurposed and may not follow the original order – but stay tuned because we’ll be airing four each month on Mondays alternating with fresh new episodes called “Ask Liz” every Wednesday.
About Alex Jamieson:
Alexandra Jamieson CHHC, AADP, is a best-selling author, holistic nutrition and lifestyle coach, detox expert, professionally trained healthy gourmet chef, and “cravings whisperer.” She has been seen on Oprah, Martha Stewart Living, CNN, Fox News, USA Today and People Magazine. Alex was the co-star and co-creator of the Oscar-nominated documentary Super Size Me and the The Great American Detox Diet and offers remarkably sane – and tasty – advice on how to detox, live healthfully and feel fantastic. Her books Vegan Living For Dummies, and Vegan Cooking For Dummies offer plant-based advice to anyone who wants to eat healthier. She lives in Brooklyn where she juggles, somewhat gracefully, raising her 7 year old son, running her company AlexandraJamieson.com, and riding her bicycle to the food co-op.
In this episode, Alex shares:
1. Nourishing habits and rituals 2. How to handle losing your identity in career, relationships, motherhood and other life changes 3. When cravings and desires aren’t convenient
