Sometimes there is nothing better than going for a nice walk to help you relax & enjoy nature whilst escaping the hectic buzz of a city …
This is one of the many reasons why lots of people enjoy hiking in America’s beautiful nature attractions like for example their National Parks.
The beauty & sanctity of which was nearly destroyed back in 2007 when a dangerous predator was discovered to be lurking within these parks .
Serial killer Gary Micheal Hilton began living off the grid & seeking isolated areas like national forests & parks across different states.
He would park up & prowl through the trees, hunting & watching through his binoculars for unsuspecting victims with his dog Dandy at his side to make himself appear more approachable . After launching his brutal sadistic attacks & keeping some victims alive & captive for days he would kill them before dismembering & disposing of their body parts in different areas ,
Although officially charged with 4 murders Hilton is suspected to have killed more victims, as the FBi do not believe he suddenly began killing at the age of 60 .
However if that is the case this would make him the worlds oldest serial killer …
Now with Hilton locked behind bars never to set foot in one of his beloved parks again , it leaves us asking worrying questions…
How safe are we alone or even with a companion on nature trails or in national parks, even if it is broad daylight ?
At what point is it ok to tell a stranger to please leave , & to stop being polite?
Does Hilton have any more victims out there, that he has hidden somewhere in the wilderness waiting to be finally found, identified & brought home to their loved ones ?
And if so, how many …..?
