Joan Dohey is a retired primary teacher whose mission is to help others live more healthy, fulfilled lives. Through life’s experiences, observation, and study, she has learned a great deal about health and healing on all levels. She has taken her passion for healing and studied and certified in modalities that address problems on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Her philosophy at its core is that taking care of oneself is crucial, and her aim is to spread the word, help others discover and cultivate this attitude, and provide some tangible tools to use on an every-day basis, be it stretching and hydration or managing one’s energy field. Taking care of ourselves is important to our overall health and to helping us live a joyful life. Over the past 10 years, Joan has become a practitioner of Bowen Therapy for people and animals, Reflexology, Reiki, Rahanni, André Dücker’s Trauma Release, and the McLoughlin Scar. Release Technique. She is a practitioner of Access Bars and Sound Healing, specializing in Crystal Singing Bowls. But her greatest love is doing Soul Genesis readings and clearings—creating a profile of each client on a soul level, then clearing energy that is holding them back and teaching them how to protect their energy so they can live their best lives. She continues to teach and is a Meditation and Yoga Nidra teacher, a spiritual life coach, and a Laughter Yoga Leader. Her latest challenge and future offering is to become a Yoga Teacher in 2024!
