In this episode, I’m opening up about how God has been dealing with me in a very personal area — my relationship with food. What started as a simple conviction about sweets turned into a deeper lesson about temptation versus testing.
We’ll look at three powerful Bible stories — Eve in the garden, Abraham on the mountain, and Jesus in the wilderness — to learn how to recognize when God is testing us and when the enemy is tempting us. You’ll discover that while temptation tries to pull us away from obedience, testing pushes us closer to God.
This episode will help you reflect on your own struggles, identify what keeps pulling at your flesh, and learn how to respond in faith instead of frustration.
📝 Homework:
Identify your triggers.
Write down what situations, emotions, or environments lead you to give in to your temptation. (e.g., stress, boredom, comfort, celebration)
Label it honestly.
Ask yourself: “Is this a temptation to disobey, or a test to strengthen my faith?”
Set one boundary this week.
Create one simple step of obedience — like limiting sweets, scrolling, or gossip — and commit to honoring that boundary.
Pray before you act.
Each time you feel pulled toward the temptation, pause and pray: “Lord, help me choose obedience over indulgence.”

Prayer of Salvation
If you’re ready to invite Jesus into your heart and begin a new life in Him, please pray this prayer with me:
"Dear God, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I admit that I am a sinner and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, and that He died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for loving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen."
