So when 25 year old Rodney Alcala would approach young, pretty girls & offer to take their picture they had no reason to say no to this young man who was claiming to be a photographer . Little did anyone realise he was one of America's most dangerous serial killers, scouring different states of America for young, unsuspecting victims to lure away where he would cruelly toy with them, subjecting them to the most horrifying & sadisitic ordeals before ultimately murdering them.

Between 1968 to 1979 sexual predator Alcala was prowling the streets, following women & breaking into their homes looking for potential victims & landing himself on the FBI's most wanted list. Unbelievably, narcissist Alcala also found time during his murderous rampage to appear on America's most famous dating show at the time "The Dating Game" later earning him the moniker, 'The Dating Game Killer'.

Finally in July 1979 he was arrested & sentenced with the death penalty for his crimes . He is strongly suspected of killing over 100 women and girls but was officially charged with the murder of 8 , including that of 12 year old Robin Samsoe. His capture finally took this evil killer off the streets for good . But even to this day looking over the catalogue of intimate pictures that he’d shot of young, unidentified women the question still remains, how many more deaths was he actually responsible for...?
