A string of horrific murders began in 1974 leaving the people of Missoula, Montana terrorised & living in fear for over 12 years .

After breaking into the home of his friends mother Donna Pounds, a then teenage Wayne Nance sexually assaulted & murdered her.

But thanks to a false alibi Nance was cleared of suspicion, & free to commit more murders. That is until one night his deadly reign of terror came to an abrupt end...

Nance attacked married couple Kris & Douglas Wells in their home but little did he know he had finally met his match. What ensued was a bloody fight to the death & only one man would come through it alive.

This case shines a light on a serial killer who murdered at least 6 victims but likely many more, who finally met a violent death himself at the hands of his brave intended victim. 

Some might say it was poetic justice & the most fitting ending for a killer that was so deadly & so brutal he was given the moniker the 'Missoula Mauler' ....
