This headlining case of the England-based TikTok star Mahek Bukhari, which is being tried in court NOW (at the time in which this episode was recorded), is truly astonishing.  The twists and turns involved in this outrageous case are mind-blowing and reveal the grave lengths that this social media figure has taken in order to preserve her spotlight on the global stage.  We've all seen the tremendous reach that social influencers have today.  It’s difficult to avoid their kitschy ads (pumpkin spiced latte in hand) pushing skincare products, weight loss supplements, detox teas, and the answer to all of our prayers.  Whether through video reels, stories, posts or live streams, the public is inundated with social influencers trying to....well, influence us.
