Our guest this week knows all about this process - planting a seed and watching it grow into something spectacular - and he is Iginio Straffi, joining all the way from Italy. Iginio is the head of Rainbow Studios and the creator of the hit animated series WINX CLUB and the recent live action remake FATE: THE WINX SAGA which took Netflix by storm earlier this year. Who doesn’t love a dark academia fairy magic show?? Iginio explains the seed of this idea, and how he always knew it would become a franchise with a live-action adaptation. He talks about his process, his company, and his vision early on for the WINX cannon, and why it came to fruition. And don’t worry, of course we asked him about the highly anticipated season 2!
