Seasonal changes are especially noticeable in Taiwan! Sometimes you’re sweating one day, and the very next day you need a jacket. In this episode, Mindy talks about “換季 huànjì” (the change of seasons) — from reorganizing the closet, to tips for staying healthy, and her personal experiences of seasonal shifts in both the U.S. and Taiwan.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
– What “換季” means and how it feels in Taiwan
– Why people often catch colds during season changes (and some simple habits to avoid it)
– Mindy’s favorite memory of autumn in the U.S. vs. the warm spring sunshine she looks forward to in Taiwan
🗣 Listener Challenge:
Which seasonal change do you enjoy the most — summer to autumn/winter, or winter to spring/summer? Tell us on Instagram @bitesize.chinese!
