On episode 28 of The GameKeeper Podcast we continue to talk turkey with George Mayfield. The discussion turns to his thought process on setting up on a gobbler and many other turkey hunting tips you don’t want to miss. “You might can call up a gobbler but you need to be set up right to get him,” George thoroughly explains.  We also discuss using barriers to your advantage, taking the high ground from him, giving him “the stage” and how sometimes silence can be the best call.  While every situation is different, this discussion is definitely one that could give you an edge in the turkey woods.
