Crime talk time stamp;10:33. Israel Keyes is something of an anomaly. He stands alone in the nefarious realm of American serial killers .

He may not quite be a household name like John Wayne Gacy, or Ted Bundy whom he researched and idolised .

However Keyes has been called one of the most ambitious, meticulous & terrifying serial killers in modern history .

While in custody for the abduction and murder of 18 year old Alaskan barista Samantha Koenig in 2012 ,

34 year old father of one Keyes confessed to slaying 7 other people around the United States.

His calculated crimes reached a level of premeditation that law enforcement had never encountered before.

This average looking man was a cold blooded predator prowling hiking trials , campgrounds, & remote areas whilst burying his “Kill Kits” all over America. These infamous kits were a cache of deadly weapons which contained supplies he’d dig up & use for the capture and murder of the next victim he chose, no matter their age or gender .

Carefully disposing of his victims bodies far from the murder scenes, he’d make sure to add distance between himself and his crimes preventing police from linking them. Authorities believe that Keyes played down the real number of murders he committed. They believe that he snuffed out many lives , at least 11 more , as he traversed the country hunting for people to torture & kill at random.

Keyes took his own life that December, taking his secrets with him to the grave ,

and leaving many questions still unanswered….
