Today we're doing the show from Ox's joint in his bar at home. We're drinking Asahi, and Marko is impressed with the dart board.
But we've barely started the show when the hotline rings, and it's Tim from Perth calling to give The Ox a clip over the chewing gum incident of a few weeks ago. Tim reminds The Ox that footy coaches sometimes would bring out PK chewy with the oranges in the half-time break. Tim's about to retire, and lets the boys know that he's planning to spend his time playing golf. Nice.
But back to Ox's bar story. Ox has told this story before, to do with his mate Brad who is a pilot and is guilty of some ordinary behaviour. Ox and Marko believe that pilots are glorified bus drivers....relevant because Ox's young bloke has decided that he wants to be a pilot. Ox's mate introduces himself by his occupation, and Ox reckons other occupations do this as well. Ox and Marko then start to discuss lawyers and how annoying they are, Marko says that lawyers make him sick.
Marko reveals a time in his life where he, apparently, was a wanker. He may have been exhibiting flog behaviour, and a mate punched him out over it.
Last week Marko opened the cone of silence about throwing things out of the car window. The boys discuss what things that are appropriate to throw out of car windows.....keen to hear your views when you've listened if you agree or not. Apple cores, banana peels, cold coffee ?
The Ox saw an incident involving public urination on Punt Road in Melbourne recently in peak hour traffic which shocked him, but he understands how it could happen. He then reveals something that he has in his car to do with urination which is horrific. Fast forward this part. Marko has a question on this, which requires the cone of silence. Marko is keen on feedback from anyone in law enforcement about how you handle this scenario if you find someone having a leak by the side of the road.
Ox asks if Marko knows what Emu-Bobbing is.
Scarred for life is a new segment we started last week, and Ox has another example today involving electric fences, having been zapped when he was a kid. This reminds Marko of when Ox tried to get tasered, and he's still keen. He has tried for years and it's never happened. We play the audio of Marko getting punched by UFC champ Chuck Liddell, see the video here. If anyone has an idea of how Ox can get tasered, let us know.
As usual we run through feedback from the family. A question about the fat pills Ox has bought online, and Ox's new colonic hobby which one family member is not impressed with. And lots of 'foot' themed feedback starting with KT26 shoes, which are the great show; we also run through the results of our poll on Adults wearing Crocs; and a question from family member Troy on Ox's recent purchase of Ugg Boots.
Fun joke to end on, this week from The Ox, although Marko gives a quick one as well.
