Shock at the start of the podcast after Sound Engineer Daryl rocks up to the record in his new open top BMW sporting a fresh moustache. Ox and Marko are impressed with the car, less so with the mo. They christen Daryl as 007 given the car situation.
But no time for that.....Marko has seen some Civil Selfishness....and he's not happy. The word 'disgusted' is used. Marko has come in and found a used teabag in the sink. He is on the hunt for who has been drinking Cranberry and something or other Tea - he has brought the used teabag into the podcast studio. Ox blames Lara in the office for this heinous crime.
Ox brings up a Can We Still Be Friends scenario around keeping secrets. Marko says that if he's more than one beer deep, he can't keep a secret, which is handy to know because Ox reckons he's sitting on some big ones at the moment, which go all the way to the top. Ox wants to know if you can be friends with someone who can't keep a big secret? Something has happened and Ox reckons some serious shit is about to go down. We have to follow this up next week and see how it landed.
Ox wants to know from Marko if he's heard back from Ricky Ponting about coming on the podcast, and Marko has to admit that he's not heard back. Clearly our pull is not what we'd like it to be.
Marko then makes the big claim about a certain country - calling it 'the most disgraceful place I have ever been to in my entire life'. He explains why, and honestly what he's seen does sound pretty ordinary.
Big news from Ox, regarding the cafe that he paid 42 bucks for Brekky at a couple of weeks ago. He has an update - something has happened, it's not good.
Kids. Ox has a couple of teenagers, and there's been some issues that get on his nerves about his kids; he talks through them and wants to know what annoys you about your kids. Ox's concerns involve radio stations, music listening, clothes washing and mobile phones. Marko agrees and shares some concerns about his kids.
We have a voicemail message from Tim from the UK on this weeks show who has a couple of questions and comments on the show - and asks Marko to stop telling the toaster story at sporty nights. Marko refuses to tell the story about the toaster, saying that it can never be told in public. Tim mentioned insults, from a couple of pods ago, knob jockey being a fave.
Marko is a fan of cockhead. Ox likes dicknose. Nimrod another fave. Fun chat about other insulting names!
Producer Daryl, now known as 007, reveals the results of our Chips vs Pringles poll.
And then into feedback - as usual plenty of feedback from you this week, keep it coming, we love it ! And we wrap up with a Can We Still Be Friends question about a bloke who shaves every hair from his body, and fake tans. A clear answer from Ox and Marko.
As usual we end the show with a joke - this time on Oompa Loompa's. Who'd have thought.
