Hello again Nightmare Society. After the shock of the loss of someone who many people looked up to this past weekend, basketball star Kobe Bryant, it’s a reminder of the brevity of life. In fact, many contributors have extremely close calls with death in stories I’ve read here before. Lets remember to continue to live life fearlessly, in pursuit of what lights us up and therefore the world, because no matter when we make that final transition, we can all make a difference.

So tonight we have a rather terrifying close call from u/discowitch2828 as well as u/scroobz – don’t get me wrong, u/scroobz's story is legitimately scary but I couldn’t keep a straight face through parts of it, it sounds like a story straight out of my life, just listen, you’ll understand.
