We all remember getting those awesome Happy meal toys from McDonalds. Sometimes they were tie ins to movies, video games or cartoons that were popular at the time. This week the group assigned movies to each other to come up with toys for. Lets just say some of them aren't kid friendly movies... but we still came up with toys for them!

As you have probably guessed, we're all good friends here on the site. As time has gone by we've added new friends and grown our little podcast family. But there was a time before we all knew each other and had just met. On this episode we recount how we got to know each other both in person and online. It's been quite a few years for some of us so our memories might be a little foggy. In fact, what day is today again?

Dark rides are those rides at amusement parks where the riders are taken through an experience or a narrative. Think The Haunted Mansion or the Back to the Future rides. This week the group creates their own dark rides based on movies, games and books that they would like to see made. We also recorded the show live on YouTube the audience got to throw in as well. Strap in and prepare to experience the movies.

We've all seen those hilarious movie plot summaries that distill it down to one or two sentences. like for example: "Stockholm syndrome drives a young woman to commit beastiality." Of course that is Beauty and the Beast. This week we take a shot at creating our own. Make sure to hit the pause button so you can try to guess the movies along with the rest of the group.

Nintendo is on fire right now. The NES Classic is still impossible to find and their new console, the Nintendo Switch, is sold out as well. There are rumors the Big N is considering releasing a SNES Classic and while that is just a rumor, we're excited for the possibility! So we came up with a list of the 30 games we think should be included on a SNES Classic if it does ever hit store shelves.

Hollywood has figured out how to translate most anything into an awesome movie; books, comics, video gam... well, maybe not video games. But the 1985 classic Clue proves its possible to do it with a board game. This week the group attempts to turn some of our favorite board games into cinematic masterpieces, or at least pretty good popcorn movies.

This week we do a topic Lanie suggested... and then wasn't able to be on the show. In any case, according to astrology you have 3 signs; the sun, the moon and the rising which represent different parts of your personality. So we came up with a list of three different characters that we felt best represented those aspects of our personalities. This took a lot of soul searching for some of us.

We all have those characters we've fallen in love with; and I'm not talking about the actors and actresses who play them. This week Jay returns along with Picky Old Gamer to share our personal list of most crush-worthy fictional characters in movies, TV and games. None of the ladies could join us this week so sorry in advance if it's just a bunch of guys talking about cute girls.

It's a huge episode for a huge topic. When you think holy trilogies, what comes to mind? Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc. But which Star Wars movies? If you could only pick 3 Harry Potter movies, which ones would you go with? What about Star Trek or X-Men? Is The Matrix a trilogy or an awesome movie with forgettable sequels? Let the great debate begin!

Music makes the scene and that is no more apparent when it is as epic as the movie it's connected to. A great soundtrack can be just as important as the actors, the visuals and everything else on screen. This week we share some of favorite movie soundtracks and why we love them so much.
