Karl White is the Principal Organizer of the Saginaw Catholic Men’s Conference. It will be Saturday March 14th, 2026 at St Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bay City at 8am.

The conference will feature talks given by Bishop Robert Gruss, Dr. David Anders (EWTN), and Dr. Dan Schneider (Franciscan Univ). There will be an opportunity for private confession along with the chance to growth in your faith and build lifelong friendships.

Fr. Nate Harburg is the pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Bay City, Michigan. He previously served as Pastor of Good Shepherd Parish in Ubly, Michigan, also in the Diocese of Saginaw. He was ordained in 2011.

His high school classmates voted him “most likely to become a priest.”

His parents met as members of the Word of God ecumenical community in Ann Arbor. His father was raised as an atheist and forbidden to speak of God or Religion in his childhood home. He was later drawn to the Word of God ministry.

Fr. Harburg has eight younger siblings, including two adopted. He enjoys spending time with his family, running in 5ks and half-marathons, and writing poems. He graduated from Franciscan University in Steubenville in 2003 and Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit in 2011, and was ordained that year.

Fr. Donald Haggerty, a priest of the Archdiocese of New York, has been a Professor of Moral Theology at St. Joseph's Seminary in New York and Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Maryland. He has a long association as a spiritual director for Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity. He is the author of several other books such as Contemplative Hunger and Contemplative Provocations.

Fr. Alex Kratz, OFM, is a Franciscan friar. As the Spiritual Director of Terra Sancta Ministries, he oversees St. Joseph Chapel and the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Pontiac where the ministry is headquartered. Fr. Alex served for almost 4 years as Associate Pastor at St. Michael’s in Southfield. He has served on the Archdiocesan Evangelization Team from 2006-2009 and 2012-2014. Father assists St. Colette Parish in Livonia on weekends. He has led many pilgrimage to the Holy Land and he is joining us to today to talk about the middle east and the year of St. Francis of Assisi- Franciscans are the custodians of the Holy Land.

Michele Sagarino is the President of Cross Catholic Outreach. She has nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit leadership. The community is invited to gather at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for Holy Mass with celebrant Fr. Bill Ashbaugh. The Eucharistic procession will begin inside the church following Mass and a brief time of Adoration and will process to the University of Michigan Diag before returning to St. Thomas for Benediction.

Jesse is the promoter for Eucharistic Adoration in the Archdiocese of Port of Spain. He also teaches there in the seminary of St. John Vianney and the Ugandan Martyrs.
