Celebrating 20 years of her blog Joan’s Rome, along with decades in television and journalism, Joan Lewis has truly seen it all at the Vatican. Having worked alongside four Popes, her day job has given her a unique behind-the-scenes insight into how the Vatican operates and the people who keep it running.

Joan Lewis – Host of Vatican Insider, Joan was EWTN’s Rome Bureau Chief from 2005-2017. She is the author of the blog “Joan’s Rome” and is often a guest on Catholic radio and a guest lecturer in Rome and the U.S.

Vanessa previews today’s guests/topics and talks about two different types of peace. She also shares a reflection on today’s Gospel reading.

Dr. Cassidy Kassab Azzow is the organizer of the 3rd Annual St. Dymphna Mass for Mental Healthcare Workers taking place Saturday May 16th at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak. She is Region Representative for The Catholic Psychotherapy Association and a clinical psychologist.
