Leader of the Morlocks, a society of non-passing mutants living in poverty in the maintenance tunnels beneath Manhattan, Callisto debuts as an eager rival to Storm. In time she becomes one of the X-Men's staunchest allies, and in the Krakoan Age, she serves as White Knight of the Hellfire Trading Company.
