Advancing to First (28:19-44:41): Tom and Gray go over the SEC series results, including the chaos of Texas-LSU and the latest “Weather Report,” Texas A&M’s trip to Missouri, Tennessee’s impressive sweep, Georgia-Ole Miss going off the rails, and plenty more. Plus—Stock Up, Stock Down is back!
Stealing Second (44:50-1:26:12): Amanda Scarborough, long-time guest and ESPN analyst, returns to the show to discuss what Texas showed last week, concerns about LSU, thoughts on Alabama, what Oklahoma needs to do, the significance of wins for Oregon and Texas Tech, and much more. Plus, “Softball is Blind” returns with a look at some tournament resumes!
Rounding Third (1:26:21-1:52:29): Bracketology returns! Gray presents his Top 16 seed list and then answers questions about it from Tom. Then, the guys look at big games this week around the country.
Heading Home (1:52:38-2:42:38): To close the show, it’s time for picks! Tom and Gray make selections around the league as well as some key mid-major matchups and one Big Ten showdown. Then, the guys dive into an “Off the Wall” that addresses issues with umpiring, the “secret” of Alabama’s series against Oklahoma, “lacking heart,” and more. Finally, “Tom’s Hungry” returns after a solid food weekend in Gainesville!
