This week I am joined by comedian Luke Thayer. We talk about his introduction into comedy, his upbringing as a late addition to his family in a religious household (in a religious community), moving to New York one year into performing, going from several different types of comedic styles into stand up, and more.

Luke rarely drinks and doesn't do drugs so this episode is a bit of a pallet cleanser, but he has a few stories about why that is; including being a witness to a horrible accident as a teen, dealing with drunken crazies at the Comedy Cellar, and watching big time comics get heckled by belligerent audience members.
