Episode 118: Midzotics 

What’s Good Famiglia?! How we doin out there?! This episode is mids af so buckle up because it’s going to get midsy! 

My guest today is Matt Shotwell. You may recognize him from Discovery channels TV show Weed country where he gets arrested and goes to jail for pioneering  the first dispensary in Vallejo California. He is a former United States merchant marine officer trained in navigating ocean cargo ships around the world for the department of defense and is also a trained United States Navy rescue swimmer. 

He’s not a Cali native he’s From Northern Virginia Washington DC area, but spent the last 20 years here in the Bay Area building his brand Midzotics. He and his cat the boysenberry Bobcat have a strain collaboration with the rapper Riff Raff and they have a song together “smoking on midzotics” he shot at his farm in Sonoma . You can find his brand Midzotics at select stores in Northern California Albuquerque, Michigan, Ny and Washington DC.
