"CO2 is a plant food… so chill out on the whole global warming/climate change thing"... Sound Familiar?

I’ve heard something like this statement before in groups, comments, messenger, twitter, facebook… but is it a valid statement? Is CO2 just plant food? Is an excess of CO2 in the atmosphere a benefit rather than a problem. Let’s look at how CO2 works first and then dive into HOW they generate their numbers because somewhere between these two there’s a disconnection that is leading many folks to be disconnected from their own breath.
