Ronak Amin, Global Product Marketing Manager of HERE Technologies, joins the show today to talk about HERE's significant strides in the EV sector, including most recently their collaboration with SBD Automotive to amass an extensive dataset of charging stations across Europe and the US, which aims to gauge the maturity of the EV market. Ronak also discusses the critical challenges plaguing EV infrastructure, such as inadequate charger availability per EV, charging power issues, high outage rates of chargers due to compatibility and aging infrastructure. That said, Ronak *still* believes there' s a light at the end of the tunnel through future initiatives aimed at improving charger availability predictions, accurate range estimation and price transparency.
