Whether you believe it or not, whether you know it right this second, you do have gift. Maybe you know deep down that you have something that you could share, a story that you could tell, a skill, a talent, that could serve so many people.

But here’s the thing. You have to be willing to acknowledge it. That’s the first step. Being willing to acknowledge that you are unique and you do have a gift.

I understand that may be challenging for some of you. If you take a look at what you were told as a child about shining, it would probably shed some light on why you find it challenging. Often times as children, we were instructed not to brag, not to tell people about your accomplishments, not to be TOO smart because other people might be jealous of you.

I want you to start thinking about as we go through this episode what your beliefs are about shining. For you, was it dangerous to shine, to succeed, to stand out, and to be beautiful?
