When the body of a woman, Dale Hall, was discovered shot and burned in early July 2002 in Columbia, SC, it was initially thought to be an isolated incident. During the investigation, law enforcement reached a dead end, and it would be almost a month before the lead that would turn the case upside down emerged. An unexpected shooting at a Texas Roadhouse led investigators to the suspect in Dale's murder, but it also resulted in additional deaths, including more in another state.
