The 2020 election saw the steady march of states legalizing (to different extents) marijuana across the country including deep red conservatives states like South Dakota and Montana.  Now over half of US States have legalized marijuana in some form. Today we discuss our thoughts on these trends and what it can mean for health and safety, criminal justice systems, the economy and how our State and Federal governments interact with each other. There are no easy answers but attitudes are changing faster than legislation can keep up.
