Today, she continues to inspire as a student of Grand master Gilbert Velez.
Master Doreen DiRienzo, as one of the co-founders of Kenpo International, has left an indelible mark on the martial arts landscape.
Her teachings have reached far beyond the shores of her homeland, with seminars and workshops conducted throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Chile.
Her story doesn't stop at the dojo.
Master DiRienzos commitment to education led her to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Northeastern University.
Unable to find a teaching job, she took matters into her own hands and founded Revere Karate Academy, which has since impacted the lives of over 35,000 students.
