This week we chat with author/writer/podcaster Cass Clarke! They are the cohost of the Horror Hangover podcast and their written work can be found at Slash Film, Rue Morgue, Fangoria and Marvel, among other places. Their debut novella The Caretaker releases later this year from Hear Us Scream Press! We chat about their creative works, their horror history and then we dig into the movie that terrified them growing up: Urban Legend. We swap urban legends, discuss the importance of having a queer writer craft a slasher, explore the way the film pays homage to other horror films, celebrate Christopher Young's score and then dive into Brenda's mane of hair to find out her secrets.
