Music is beyond experiencing what’s on the surface, beyond what is written, it is beyond hearing alone. When you are able to embody music to who you really are is art itself, being able to experience it with personal insights and experiences makes music even more meaningful and authentic. There are so many tools and theories out there to help you connect with music, but these tools and theories can not really connect you in depth with what the music is all about. But there is also a wonderful way to share your art and music with others through certain platforms where you can be genuinely listened to. 

In today’s episode, we are joined by Owen Grover. He is the CEO of TrueFire Studios, one of the biggest music education brands out there, with 4 main brands: Artistworks.com: an online music platform focused on making learning affordable and easy. The platform has over 50k lessons, 35+ teachers, and has taught tens of thousands of students in 80+ countries. TrueFire: a digital guitar lessons platform that has collaborated with 300+ top artists and educators, and has over 40k video lessons available. FaderPro: an online music education platform focused on electronic dance music that has teamed up with big names like Nicky Romero. JamPlay: a leading resource for learning to play the guitar and bass online that has over 500k customers and 300k followers across social media.

Owen also helped produce the Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden, which raised over $55 million for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Owen is also known for building Pocket Casts, an Australian-born podcasting app.
