In our human understanding of fairness, it makes sense that we get what we deserve - good or bad. Karma is logical. If you do good, good will come to you, and vice versa. It also makes sense to us that when we have suffered and been wronged, yet we continue to be faithful, good, and Godly, that God will reward us by giving us our "breakthrough." We will see success.  And it even makes sense to us that God uses our dreams to speak to us; that while we are sleeping, He sends us messages, visions, and even a word - we just need to ask for some help in interpreting those dreams.
