Episode 25 - Michael Pengilly: Mayor of Kangaroo Island
This weeks episode was recorded on the deck of out KI accomodation at Stokes Bay so of course we spend plenty of time chatting KI and the fishing we have got up to over the past 9 days.
We also chat with Michael Pengilly, who has spent his entire life living on Kangaroo Island and is currently in his second stint as Mayor, with a period in state politics in between. We chat all things KI including last summers tragic bushfires and how the Island is bouncing back, the effect of COVID on KI and also hear about Michaels own fishing prowess and favourite spots on the Island.
As always we have all the latest fishing reports, a great segment on Nannygai jigs that have been doing the damage for us on KI and all the news including the upcoming Coast 2 Coast Tuna Comp.
